Volunteers needed for HolidayLights

The California Living Museum (CALM) is looking for a few good Trail Elves and Floating Gnomes to help at HolidayLights at CALM. Approximately 30 volunteers are needed each night, 5-10 p.m., Nov. 29-Dec. 30 (closed Dec. 24 and 25) to act as hosts and direct our guests through the grounds to see exciting holiday displays featuring two million lights! Volunteers will also take tickets, assist with the railroad and help in the gift store. Businesses or organizations that sponsor a night by supplying 25 volunteers will be able to set up an information table the evening(s) they volunteer. As a way of thanking those who donate their time, CALM is giving volunteers an admission pass to HolidayLights for each night of support they give. If you are interested in helping the animals by volunteering for HolidayLights, call Lana Fain, zoo manager at (661) 871-1822. HolidayLights at CALM is its major fund-raiser for the year. CALM has cared for animals that have been injured or otherwise cannot survive in their natural environment for 25 years.
