On Friday, August 29, 2008, at 1:00 p.m., at Liberty High School, the Bakersfield Police Department along with State Farm Insurance and 3Way Chevrolet will be dedicating the A Life Interrupted Mobile DUI Exhibit.

A Life Interrupted is a powerful and interactive program presented by the Bakersfield Police Department in partnership with families of victims who have died as the result of an automobile crash involving alcohol, drugs or unsafe driving practices by young and inexperienced drivers.

This mobile DUI exhibit will allow the program to better communicate its message of the dangers and tragic impacts of driving under the influence by providing dramatic visual displays.
